Show-Stopping Crispy Hasselback Potatoes

Haven't shared a recipe in a while so I thought I would share one of my very favorites - Hasselback potatoes. This Swedish creation is one of my favorite things to cook. I love them because they are so delicious and they are the perfect side to any meal. I love them even more because they are really easy to make BUT look really fancy so everyone is always impressed when I make them 💁🏻💁🏻‍♂️💁🏾💁🏾‍♂️ You can top these off with anything else that you love. I'm thinking mozzarella, bacon, sour cream, salsa, avocado, smoked fish, mmm!

Let's get right into it!

INGREDIENTS

Potatoes (Yukon Gold, Russet, etc) \ Butter \ Olive Oil \ Fresh Crushed Garlic \ Powdered Pepper \ Spring Onions to Garnish

DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 425 F \ Prep your baking tray by greasing or lining with aluminum foil \ Scrub potatoes thoroughly to clean\ Place potatoes on baking tray \ Carefully cut slits in the potatoes. Make sure they don't go all the way through! A good trick is to pierce a skewer through the bottom of the potato (like I did in the photo) to stop your knife from going all the way through \ Melt butter \ Add crushed garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper to melted butter to taste \ Drizzle part of the butter mixture generously on the potatoes \ Bake in the heated oven for 30 minutes \ Remove potatoes and brush on another layer of buttery-garlic goodness \ Bake for another 30 minutes or until potatoes are nice and tender \ Serve on your favorite Studio Badge platter! I used my \\Tina platter (as seen in the photo).
